Obama Dispensing Political Capital in Albany Congressional Race

Democrats are putting up a tough fight in Senator Gillibrand's old House seat. Their ace in the hole: an email supporting Scott Murphy from President Obama. Given that Republican candidate Jim Tedisco's lead has been evaporating in the polls, Obama's letter might give Murphy the bump he needs to win the March 31st special election.
