Domino’s ads delivering for Gov. contender

A pizza guy trying to become governor of Michigan? When I read this story it seemed odd to me that one of the more household pizza CEOs would consider running in what surely would be a challenging race for him. Domino's pizza is a company that has been known for some innovation within the industry, but I am not really sure why David Brandon would want to switch careers. Obviously it isn't about the money because he would be taking a severe decrease in pay, but does he like the power of being governor over a highly respected job as top dog in the a strong company? I guess he must have laid out a plan for himself where becoming governor can lead him to a potential role in Congress down the line, but personally I just see this move as a bit out of the ordinary. His advertisements during the NCAA basketball games have caught my attention, but his strategy of attacking the bailouts is one consistent with the Republican Party and does not seem particularly special to me.
