Millennium Challenge Corporation

This morning Eric and I attented a Millennium Challenge Corporation discussion panel titled "Quenching the Global Thirst: Challenges and Opportunities in Improving Access to Water and Sanitation". Senator Isakson and Congressman Blumenaur made appearances at the event. The discussion focused on the importance of a strengthened US-Africa Aid partnership, and the potential benefits that could be achieved. The panelists argued that US investment and foreign aid can improve standards of living and economic growth across the African continent while benefitting the American economy as well.
