Obama issues warning as North Korea readies rocket

Is another conflict going to escalate in North Korea over the proposed missile/satellite launch? I like that President Obama is criticizing the country for its actions and gaining allies like Japan on our side, but North Korea continues to play dumb. I cannot believe that North Korea actually thinks that it is productive to threaten us and Japan if we try to thwart the launch because if they are really concerned with getting off a communications satellite all they would have to do is allow for U.S. officials to tour the launch site and oversee what goes on this weekend. I know they shouldn't have to be dependent on us to conduct their business, but something as large scale as this is something that could potentially begin another war that we do not really need at this point in time. We do need to take a strong response after it occurs for this very reason and if we fail to do so then North Korea will feel like it can continue building up its arsenal. Hopefully for us it really is just a satellite that is being launched, but in the likely event that it is not then we need to be prepared right now to take the proper actions.
