Stewart blasts CNBC: 'Whose side are they on?'

If you click on the link you can watch the video from Jon Stewart's Daily Show last night where he ripped on well-known financial expert Jim Cramer. I agreed with Stewart's assessment of CNBC's coverage of the banking crisis last year given that they kept touting the plans of recovery. With all of the problems that have occurred over the last year, I still am disappointed with the banks and their handling of their financial structuring. And given that we are going to have to bailout them out again, we should have stepped up our critical efforts near the beginning rather than wait and then finally discover some flaws in the plans.

Who hasn't seen this? I am not anointing Jon Stweart as a Murrow, or comparing this to Frost/Nixon, but it takes a lot of balls to ask the tough questions to Cramer. He took a strong personality like Cramer, and made him come off as a weak and sorry guy.
