China 'worried' by U.S. debt

I think China is simply trying to dig at us with their recent comments about our increasing debt. The national debt is something that we should try to curb since it is extremely high, but at the same time we cannot stop moving forward because of it. If China is so worried about it then it should stop bailing us out by buying up our debt and then they would be free of us. Yet, they cannot do so because it is in their best interests to keep it so in all reality their recent discussion renders an opinion that is not really conducive to their political options. The goal President Obama has put forth to reduce the debt in half by the end of his presidency sounds great, but with all of the programs he wishes to institute it does not seem very likely. Given that this is the likely probability, it is best for Americans to understand that the possible repercussions of the policy proposals being introduced by Congress and the President.
