Sen. Joe Lieberman now sings Obama's praises

Senator Lieberman is now back on the Democrats side given his desire to stay in Congress. Given that Senator McCain did not defeat Obama in the general election, it is obvious that Lieberman has decided that his best bet is to go back to Democrat leadership to ensure that he will be reelected in 2012. I am not surprised with this decision given how he has flip-flopped between parties over the last several years, but I think it is crazy that the former VP candidate could have even entertained the thought of joining his opposition. I know that he was perceived as a problem for the Democrats prior to his last reelection cycle, but it makes a lot more sense for the Party to utilize him rather than ostracize him for his campaign contributions to the Republicans of late.
