Pentagon says Chinese vessels harassed U.S. ship

I was surprised to hear that China would harass an American intelligence vessel given the tension between the two countries that appears to be growing. The American ship was unarmed and posed no threat to China so its actions are unacceptable and unwarranted. It was very dangerous to make the big American ship to come to an emergency stop and it could have caused harm not only to the members aboard, but also the ship itself.
