Republicans concerned over RNC fundraising
I understand that the economy is in bad shape, but for the RNC to reduce its income by almost 50% in February from January is a bit steep. Steele had better get his game back in place because he has some serious damage control that needs to be dealt with in a timely manner. The fundraising efforts of the Republican Party are needed greatly right now because of all the races that will be up for grab in the next election and at this point the RNC is not getting the job done. With the special election race in New York, the RNC has not been able to help its candidate maintain the significant lead he had at the beginning of the race and now it appears that it will be a dead heat. This will require even more financial spending on behalf of their candidate, which at this point is not looking like something they would be able to sustain for a long period of time while still preparing to fund potential 2010 races.
