The Recession’s Green Lining

One of the key areas that President Obama hopes to address with his stimulus package is a move towards a more green friendly nation. Even though the issue is important given the potential consequences global warming may have on the environment, I do not believe President Obama would have taken such a strong stand on improving efficiency if we weren't in a recession needing projects for workers. This has to benefit all of those strong advocates for environmental resourcefulness because for once their platform is being heard and utilized on a national level.
