For McCain, a Dual Role, Center Stage

I like seeing Senator John McCain back in the eye of the public for his actions in the Senate as opposed to campaigning. I have great respect for him as my Senator and I feel he is doing a good job at speaking up for his beliefs rather than solely party lines. He has become both a counterpart and a partner for President Obama since he came back. At least he is not taking a back seat like John Kerry did when he lost to President Bush. Considering that he is not going to be running again for President, Senator McCain does not have to go along with the Republican Party on all their stances. Yet, he is helping them out most in the key bills for the economic stimulus and government spending bills. President Obama should try to get Senator McCain in check because it seems like McCain is drumming up the beat for the Republican Party once again.
