Republicans Look for a Reliever in Kentucky

It saddens me to see Senator Jim Bunning ruining his political career given the admiration I have for him as one of the greatest baseball pitchers in the history of the game. Unlike when he was on the field, being a wild card is no longer the ticket to success for him. He has become a big distraction for the Republican Party and I just do not see how they can back him in the next election despite being one the most fiscally conservative members in the Senate. His behavior has made me ashamed of him as a person because he should know better than to speak negatively against the ill and leaders of his party who control his ticket back to reelection in 2010. Hopefully, he can put all of this behind him and work on anger-management because otherwise he seems destined to be out of a job come next election.
