Arcuri's '08 fight scared Dems straight

Representative Arcuri is no longer considered the safe bet anymore for our college's district. By the time the next election comes around, he may not be able to win his seat back again. I hadn't heard much about what the Republicans were going to do about this seat considering that Alcuri is now a two-time winner, but now they seem ready to put forth a valiant attempt at getting back another seat the next-go-around. With Arcuri only having about $30,000 in campaign funds raised so far for 2010, he is not showing the urgency that he needs to win again. The Republicans are definitely going to target this district and could give their candidate a big monetary advantage over Arcuri if they so desire.
