University of Maryland lessens penalties against students who EMT friends due to alcohol

Looking at the policies they're trying to implement makes me think more about the Hamilton policies. They have good intentions, but this article brought up the point that I never considered that policies like this could just encourage people to drink to the point of illness. I still think the Amethyst Initiative provides the best answer. If we lower the drinking age, it will a) be less taboo and become less of a rebellion thing and b) make it safer for students to EMT friends without fear of retribution.
