Madoff's Mets baseball tickets may soon go on eBay

I think this is a very creative way to try and recoup some of the money from Bernie Madoff. I would definitely enjoy sitting in those seats every game as just looking at the stadium on television, I have gathered an appreciation for the improvement from the old venue. An auction like this could go either way, in that the tickets may get extra hype because of who held them and just to gain some publicity or the exorbitant cost may be too prohibitive and the tickets may not even reach face value. I have not seen too many high ticketed items sell very well on eBay and with the economy the way it is I have trouble believing that the tickets will generate the kind of appeal that the trustee of Madoff's estate thinks they may. With all of that being said, I know if the tickets do go out on sale, I will check out the auction to see how it goes because ultimately the person who wins these tickets will be gaining a great experience to watch some great baseball and give back to some of the people hurt by Madoff's wrongful actions.
