Biden wants to make higher ed more affordable

I like the focus on education within the new administration. One of the best ways to make people accountable to themselves and others is to properly educate them not only in the areas that interest them, but also in the areas of everyday living. Colleges provide students a unique opportunity to gain the best of both worlds by experiencing life on their own, but also learning about how to excel in their passionate interests. I think giving people the opportunity to gain valuable insight in different fields allows each person to become a contributing member of society. It is better to give people incentives to work hard and put in the time necessary to excel rather than allow them to live unfulfilled lives working jobs that they dislike without an opportunity to move up in the world. Making college more affordable at this point in time is much appreciated given that with many universities shrinking in their financial aid endowments and lack of new donors providing funding. Higher education is an area that I am willing to see my taxpayer dollars being spent because I have seen first hand in Arizona where our lower education system is in shambles, how people become frustrated with school and end up dropping out in high school because they fail to see opportunities for themselves to gain a college degree without going into major debt.
