White House computer chief reinstated after raid
Even though he was cleared of any indiscretions in the raid that the FBI conducted last week, I still have concerns regarding Kundra and the Obama administration's handling of his vetting process. I don't see it as a big deal for Kundra to have pleaded guilty to a theft of $300 when he was 21, but it would have been much better if the public found out about it before something bad happened like this FBI raid that could have further diminished his chances of retaining his position. In the future nomination processes, it would be best if any potential skeletons are released before rather than after a person has been put into the cabinet or administration. Being open and forthright stands out to me as a better way of going about the selection of key members rather than allowing for the media to continue with its gotcha-style of reporting.
