U.S. Site Offers Guidance on Mortgage Troubles

The transparency that President Obama is bringing with his plans to cure some of the problems with the economy is refreshing. I checked out the new website, makinghomeaffordable.gov, which is a useful tool that many people who are in the process of refinancing loans can utilize in an effective manner. One of the more impressive features of the site is that free counselors are provided for any individual looking for questions to be answered in regards to the new mortgage plan that the President has touted. It is better for constituents to be able to talk with a person who has direct knowledge of how they can be helped than to a personal assistant working for one of their representatives. These counselors are highly qualified and understand the complex issues associated with the mortgage industry and I feel that the more opportunities the public has to get things back on track will only help us in the short and long run.
