Thousands gather in D.C. cold for rally about global warming
From my office near the Capitol building I could hear the march with the windows closed. Despite the icy cold conditions, people from around the country walked and protested the burning of coal at the power plant that supplies Congress with its energy needs. I agree that the power plant could be run more efficiently environmentally speaking, but the cost associated with such a drastic change may not be the best thing at this point in time.

I was there at the tail end of the protest. First act of civil disobedience for climate change in history. And the plant was shut down. A sign of the big changes in store on the environmental front...
Are blizzards in March in DC caused by global warming?
