Renegade soldiers kill Guinea-Bissau president
Presidential assassinations attempts remain a serious threat around the globe. I was surprised to hear that African President Joao Vieira of Guinea-Bissau was murdered this morning. That country is one of many African nations in which poverty and crime are rampant. Guinea-Bissau is known for its cocaine smuggling operations and with the change of leadership in the country, I expect their to be some unrest among the local citizens. It goes to show us that there are always people looking for reasons to find your faults and so the Secret Service should take note of this assassination as a wake-up call and reminder that their job remains just as difficult as has been in the past.
