Campaign Aide Tapped to Head FCC
President Obama's decision to make Julius Genachowski the person in charge of the Federal Communications Commission seems like a pretty good choice. It was quite impressive how Julius helped Obama use technology to his advantage during the campaign season. The one thing that I think will be a struggle will be the Internet access that President Obama wants to spread to rural areas. I think all people should be able to use the Internet, but I do not necessarily believe that spending $8 billion to make it happen is the best use of taxpayer money right now. Hopefully, Genachowski can cut this cost and continue to utilize the growth of technology, then he will be successful.
