Bloomberg: Geithner is 'kind of guy I’d want'

One of the first non-Obama comments in favor of Tim Geithner came from the mayor of New York today on Meet the Press. It is a big position for Michael Bloomberg to take given all of the backlash that Geithner has seen in the media and by the public. With Republicans leading the charge I am not sure how much longer Geithner has before even President Obama has to begin questioning if he has the right man. Geithner is definitely going to have a chance to redeem himself tomorrow when he announces his plan to take the toxic assets from many of the struggling banks, but if he fails again to instill confidence in his agenda then he may be on really thin ice.
