At a Harlem Charter, School on a Snow Day
3rd Graders at Harlem Success Academy had to come to school on Monday despite the snowstorm. Eva S. Moskowitz, however, decided to make the 3rd graders come into school to get an extra day of studying in for the state math tests which were postponed due to the storm. Charter schools do not have to follow the city-wide public school calendar.
