Tea Party Audience Cheers Idea of Letting Uninsured Die
For more, see last week's debate where the Republican crowd cheered on the unprecedented number of convicts Texas put to death during Perry's governorship. Another gem is the Tea Party audience tonight cheering on Perry for doubling down on his treason comments about Fed Chairmen Ben Bernanke. And all of this on the heels of a poll of likely GOP voters saying that Perry is more electable than Romney. Is the GOP about to kill their chances of winning the presidency by straying too far right and picking Perry? Would they be better off going with the more moderate, but flip-flop happy Romney? Either way, the base seems to be getting pretty radical these days.

Don't forget the moment when the audience booed Ron Paul after he made the assertion that the whole muslim world was not to blame for 9/11!
Yeah, this was one of the more disturbing parts of the debate for me. The Tea Party is scary.
I'm not sure why the GOP keeps moving right. It seems like after 2008 that the obstructionist/ Tea Party strategy worked for 2010 but I can't see it having much shelf life as the voting population gets younger and more diverse. I just can't see any candidate making it out of this primary to beat an increasingly centered and well-funded Obama.
Welcome back PMB. Wishful thinking about POTUS being saved by the Tea Party? More Dems seem to be watching debates than Reps.
Perspective: 31 million people watched POTUS speech (down 10 million from other speeches before Congress); 19 million people watched Sunday Night football; 5.4 million people watched MSNBC GOP debate (including some glum Dems like PBM looking for a pick me up!)
