Hi All:
For those of you interested in experiencing cultural diversity while in DC, I have some good news for you. The French Embassy has a cultural section (La Maison Francaise) that comes out with various activities and events that highlight/ showcase aspects of French and European culture. For instance, today's event ("Henry Purcell: The Food Of Love with tenor Paul Agnew") will feature Paul Agnew,a renowned Scottish tenor, who will "present a rare and exquisite selection of Baroque songs at La Maison Francaise." It's at 7:30pm at the French Embassy (4101 Reservoir Road NW). General admission is $25, but $20 for students with IDs. On Friday, there is also going to be a special event dubbed "Euro Night 2011: A Captivating Cultural Journey".
