Your summer internship competition
Adults are going back to internships to adjust to new markets or even as what this article describes as "extended job interviews." Given what we heard at the alumni networking event last week about how companies are looking more to interns to pick up the duties of those they had to fire to make ends meet, this doesn't come as a huge surprise to me.

That's why it's such a bad timing for graduating students this year. Most have problems getting experience since some companies want a little bit for their prospects. I think it was a nice idea for me to sign up to student career sites such as nuResume (www.nuresume.com). It's a place specifically for students to get summer internships and it's completely free to join and use their facebook-linkedIn-monster-like site. Cool!
