Our group will be presenting on the criticisms and controversies surrounding the World Bank. Critics have analyzed the World Bank as an institution, its inefficiencies and the fact that it fosters statism - I will be covering this. Emily will talk about criticisms of the World Bank's approach to the environment. Kenya will talk about human rights issues surrounding the World Bank. Colleen will give a comprehensive overview of specific controversies seen through time.
The article posted is long, but gives excellent, well organized insight into the World Bank, and what is wrong with it.
