Speaker Pelosi: I am not partisan

I found it funny to see Speaker Pelosi try to appear bipartisan with her recent remarks in an interview. No matter what she says, I would imagine most Americans wouldn't believe that she isn't partisan. You don't rise to the top of the Party without being someone who shares with most if not all of the platforms and for her to say she wants Republicans on her side is well-intentioned but not followed through with her actions. She seems not only to draw ire from the GOP, but also some of her fellow Democrats for her lack of inclusion in the process of drawing up legislation. Even though she has a high approval rating from the public, I still do not see how she can justify herself with comments like these and really there is no need to given the strength of the Democrats in the House and Senate.
