Questions surround health IT money

It is obvious that a shift towards a digital collection of medical records is necessary for the improvement of efficiency and will create a significant savings for hospitals and health care providers. The key question is how will the money that has been allocated to the project be spent in making this goal a reality. I don't think enough money was put forth for the project to become nationally based on the lack of hospitals already equipped with the necessary technology. It is going to require a team of health IT experts to generate some sort of mechanism that can make the most out what has been given to them by Congress and the President.
