Congress May Need to Fund Another Stimulus, Pelosi Says

Another economic stimulus package? I guess the first one didn't go as well as planned. Obviously the banking system is going to need more funding to maintain operations, but another stimulus package devoted to creating jobs and bringing money to the market is a bit puzzling to me. If the first stimulus package wasn't going to be enough and there were economists touting that as a fact, then why didn't they just add more to the top at the beginning? Yes, Republicans played a hand in the media battle, but it would have been better to put more money out at the top and get a head start on the giant task ahead of the country. Now if another stimulus package is put together it will not have enough time to make a difference in the short-run like it could have.
