Blue Dogs get more bark, more bite

I had not been aware of the significant number of Blue Dogs within the House of Representatives until reading this article. I was surprised to see 56 members belonging to this coalition because that it about 1/5 of the Democrats in office. They seem to be gaining traction as more and more members are trying to join and it appears Nancy Pelosi is not pleased by this. Considering that they are fiscally conservative, I expect them to stop some of the excess spending going on at one point or another because their constituents from Republican districts will not be pleased to go along with this for much longer.
