Bad Economy Leads Patients to Put Off Surgery, or Rush It
With the rising costs of health care and the downfall of the economy, many people are not utilizing doctors the same ways as in the past. I could have imagined that plastic surgeons would not be as busy as in the past, but it is sad to see people with more troublesome illnesses hold off on surgeries that could prevent further damage down the road. At the same time it is smart for those whose coverage will be declining to take advantage of the insurance that they currently have because it enables them to get necessary procedures done now so that the cost will be low-key in the future.
