Call it a lack of engagement, but I never realized how deeply entrenched the Romney family has been in American politics. While reading this article, I felt that we were given a glimpse into Romney's character, or at least the traits he inherited from his mother. Considering his unimpressive run in Michigan right now, I wonder what type of candidate we would have if he was more like his father. I think Professor Eismeier was right in saying that we haven't seen who Romney is as a person, but I feel that this article was somewhat helpful in understanding him on a more personal level.
