This debate is relatively minor compared to what's coming down the pipeline, so the problem isn't that Boehner won this debate (which he did), the problem is what this signals about Republicans and Obama in the future. Boehner showed enormous skill in controlling them- but I'm not sure that can last for long. Obama showed himself to be the consummate self-serving politician. Hopefully he actually grows a spine one day.
