dispelling the myth that Democrats are tax-happy. On the other hand, Republican votes demonstrated their commitment to party dogma. The nearly unanimous Republican vote demonstrated the party's commitment to increasing the ranks of the uninsured by 30 million, bending the health care cost-curve…up, cutting SNAP food assistance by 20% over the next decade, cutting the non-Social Security/Health/Defense part of the budget by 2022 to pre-World War II levels, and giving millionaires average tax cuts of over $125k a year.
