Looks like all the conversation about the Mommy Wars was for naught...

The Mommy Wars seem to have come to an predictably-thrilling conclusion. The denouement, as per this article from Slatest: nothing's changed. The split in women voters likely to vote in November is still roughly a 14-point margin in favor of Obama, no change from the same poll taken in March, despite Republicans' best efforts to paint the comments about Ann Romney from the Democratic camp in a negative light.

Another interesting bit: "Reuters spots another interesting development in its latest survey: "Despite Republicans' efforts to portray themselves as the party of the family, Obama even had a big edge on family values among women, with 51 percent picking him as better on that issue compared with 36 percent for Romney."
