On Wednesday, we had a fascinating meeting with Michael McCurry P '10, press secretary for President Clinton and now a partner in Public Strategies Washington. We met in the conference room of PSW, which was once the studio where Mathew Brady photographed Abraham Lincoln. Mr. McCurry spoke on a broad range of topics, including the Monica Lewinsky scandal, his decision to begin televising the daily briefings, changes in the media landscape facing presidents, and the current budget crisis.
