Not sure. I know what your getting at, I just think it's funny how easy it was to flip a GOP talking point the other way.

Yeah, I think since abandoning cap and trade the Obama administration's goal has been to try to make renewables cost competitive. These regs have more to do with permitting which is a larger problem for renewables because solar panels and wind turbines take up a lot more space than traditional fossil fuel energy sources.
