This New York Times discussion looks at career-based versus liberal arts higher education, citing advice from Bill Gates and Steve Jobs. I can probably guess how we all feel about this topic, since we are not exactly a random sample of bloggers. But each side has some valid points.
"Gates is studying the science of education. Jobs is creating the art of learning. I’m sure there is an app for teaching arithmetic by watching the heavens and counting the stars."
