Saw this article on TV this morning. This is a tough one. In practice, I would say that it's an awful idea. I don't trust my classmates to carry guns (sorry guys). Gun licensing tests trustworthiness, not proficiency. It seems far more likely that a gun carrying student would either missfire or not fire at all. In principle, I would be very happy to have an armed classmate who is both trustworthy and a good shot.
Under current arrangements, no guns at Hamilton. Alexander might agree.
