Catholics may halt healthcare reform
Apparently healthcare is a right but the choice for an abortion is not.

So they're going to stop the whole reform (that will help and likely save the lives of a lot of people) purely because the public will be possibly paying for abortions since the government plan doesn't explicitly state it DOESN'T cover abortions? COME ON....what happened to helping the poor and sick (who are ALREADY in the world)? I get they have a problem with abortion, and in certain cases i'd say thats a very legitimate concern, but please don't ruin the chance of reform for everyone just on that basis. It's a stance that forms around a religious belief, so just as its not fair to make them pay for abortions they don't believe in, it's also not fair that they block the future healthcare of millions of poor and sick Americans. Also...without abortions there would likely be MANY more Americans in serious medical trouble, not to mention more poverty and other social problems. I anticipate this should spark some debate? I'd love to rumble...
