Name Recognition

Herman Cain has been looking increasingly strong, though I doubt his candidacy has sufficient support (i.e. money, party infrastructure, quality staff & advisers) to enable him to make a serious challenge for the nomination. Still, he might end up being the Tea Party/crazy fringe candidate of choice.

Also, this paragraph from the linked article caught my eye:
"Also gaining in name ID is former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty. He's been seen as one of the race's front-runners despite his relatively low name recognition, but Gallup reports half the party now knows who he is. That's a 10-point jump from last month."

Good for him.
