Yeah, so much for unitary government or any sort of consensus in the Senate. I hope that this bipartisan group of Senators can make this bill viable, especially since even Baccus opposed this version. I doubt Harry Reid will be as willing as Barbara Boxer to just hit the accelerater and blast it through on the floor, but then again I was also a proponent of unitary government just yesterday, and that seems to be dead.
