Three weeks in, and no one has Obama's back

President Obama entered the White House with a great deal of political capital, yet at this point he has not been able to do much with it. The Democratic Congress should be working on the same page as President Obama because with a successful package, they can stay in control for a long period of time. Continuing to push for their own built-up interests will not help in maintaing power during this economic crisis. If they are going to try and implement a Responsible Party Model type of program, they should take a look at how they create their policy agenda.
