Many Santander Madoff-hit clients sign deal

In one of the first actions since the Ponzi scheme was revealed, Banco Santander has begun paying back some of the losses its clients have lost with their investment in a fund directed by Madoff. Will this be the beginning of more lawsuits and settlements of those who invested with Madoff? I believe it will definitely help encourage those defrauded of their money to seek repayment of their losses.
