Blagojevich calls removal a 'hijacking'

Although I am dismayed with the thought of Blagojevich remaining in office, he seems to have a point in regards to his impeachment hearing. It seemed to me that the state legislature had already made up its mind prior to entering the hearing and intended to make a statement with the first impeachment of a governor in a long period of time. However, given all of the media coverage and the outrageous television campaigning from Blagojevich, I am not sure that he could have been given a fair hearing and I do not believe he will be given it in his criminal case later this year.
