US Open to Thawing Relations with Russia

This is a really important development in what is quickly becoming a convoluted relationship. On Friday the Russians successfully pressured the Kyrgyz government to close Manas Air Base. Earlier in January, the Kremlin announced it would not station nuclear missiles in Kalingrad. Now the USG is opening up its stance on missile defence to leave room for a deal with Moscow. This is one of the most important bilateral relationships in the world and it is undergoing major changes right now. Keep an eye out for any further developments!
