The article talks about the ban of ROTC from many college campuses after the end of the Vietnam War and Obama's call for such programs to be reinstated.
Should ROTC be allowed to actively recruit members of colleges? As with many other contentious issues facing our nation today, I believe that prohibitive laws encroach on our abilities to act as intelligent citizens by taking away our ability to choose. The choice of whether to join ROTC or not would still ultimately be in our hands if the program were allowed back on campuses.
