Rendition here to stay?

Despite Holder's pledge to review all assertions of the state secrets privilege and Panetta's promise to end the practice of transferring suspects to countries where they are at risk of being tortured, the Obama administration and DOJ still upheld Bush's brief that defended charges against Jeppesen Dataplan.

I understand that Obama can't overturn all of Bush's policies and must maintain some stability in the judicial court process in the time being. I also know that he did not limit rendition in the Gitmo executive order. But with more rendition-related cases arising in the near future, torture and rendition cannot remain seperate topics much longer. When will Obama finally take action and a stance on rendition?
