Patrick Leahy Creates a "Truth and Reconcilation Committee"

A call to investigate the Bush Administration for possible crimes, including warrantless wiretapping, torture, and extraordinary rendition. What do you think--cheap political vengeance, or a desire to uphold Constitutional protections? Personally, I think enough of the Bush administration's actions have tenuous legal ground to make the investigation warranted--it's not every administration that has foreign governments attempting to try officials for war crimes.
